Located on the barrier island known as The Shores, the appropriately-named Shores Resort and Spa is a boutique hotel and the only AAA four diamond-rated lodging facility in Daytona Beach. Situated directly on the beach, this resort provides stunning views of the water and a luxury experience for guests who seek elegance and pampering when they're on vacation in Daytona.
The accommodations at Shores Resort and Spa are chic and modern. Rooms include beautiful four-poster feather beds, luxury linens, Italian marble bathrooms with door-less showers, and upscale bath products. There are a total of 212 guestrooms at this resort, some with one king bed and others with two double beds. Rooms are painted in warm hues and subtle beach tones. Other in-room amenities include 32” or 42” flat screen televisions, DVD/CD player, high-speed wireless internet access, cordless phones, mini bar, coffee maker, in-room safe, hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board. Some guestrooms have balconies and provide views of either the Atlantic Ocean or the Intercoastal Waterway. Executive rooms have separate sitting areas with sleeper sofas and large work desks. The Presidential Suite boasts a parlor, a sitting area with sofas and chairs, a 6-person dining table, a stereo, and a kitchenette with microwave and full-size refrigerator.

Indulge, the spa at the Shores Resort, is a full service day spa available for the use of guests but also popular with locals. A huge number and variety of spa services are available and Indulge features six luxurious treatment rooms in which to take advantage of these services. On the spa menu at Indulge are massages of many varieties, Vichy showers, body treatments with herbs and minerals, facials, ritual baths, and a menu of other ritual treatments that are unique to the Indulge Spa like the Chocolate Raspberry Spa Package. The spa also offers traditional salon services such as hair removal, manicures and pedicures, and make-up lessons and application. Couples spa services are available as are group services for bridal parties.
Dining at the Shores Resort and Spa includes a chance to sample the menu at Azure, Daytona Beach’s only fine-dining oceanfront restaurant. The dinner menu here is largely inspired by the sea and offers a wealth of unique seafood creations. However, Azure also serves traditional breakfast and lunch seven days a week. Tables are available inside the light and airy dining room or outside (in season) on the elevated terrace. A children’s menu is available. The Azure Bar offers the opportunity to watch the sunset while enjoying a favorite cocktail and the poolside Tiki Bar offers not only drinks but a variety of light fare as well. Room service is available 24/7.
The Shores Resort and Spa is a popular location for
oceanfront weddings and it also provides space for a gala reception after an
outdoor ceremony. For business events, the hotel offers about 20,000 square
feet of flexible meeting space, both indoor and outdoor.
