Bahama House is a high-rise hotel situated directly on Daytona Beach, located close to the Boardwalk amusement area and pier as well as the new Ocean Walk Village. The family-friendly hotel offers 87 guest rooms located in one 10-story building, with many of the spacious rooms enjoying a view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Visitors can choose from a number of different types of guest rooms at Bahama House. These include the Oceanfront Efficiency, which features a direct view of the beach, 2 beds with luxury linens, a full kitchen with large refrigerator, microwave, 2-burner stove, and kitchen utensils, and furnished private balcony; an Oceanview Efficiency, which includes the same amenities as the oceanfront unit but with a northeast or southeast view of Daytona; the Oceanview Room, also with a northeast or southeast exposure, private balcony, two queen beds, mini refrigerator, and microwave; and the Oceanview King Efficiency, a room which boasts a king bed plus queen-sized sleeper sofa, a full kitchen with large appliances, furnished balcony, and jetted Jacuzzi tub. Other amenities include hairdryers, coffee makers, in-room safes, iron and ironing board, alarm clocks, cable/satellite TV with premium channels, complimentary newspapers, and free high-speed wired or wireless internet access.
Other hotel amenities include complimentary continental breakfast each morning featuring fresh muffins, fresh fruit, fresh bagels, sweet rolls, hot and cold cereals, juices, coffee, and tea; a complimentary evening cocktail reception for hotel guests; an outdoor pool overlooking the ocean; outdoor hot tub; and a picnic area. There is no restaurant at the Bahama House itself but the hotel is surrounded by a wealth of eateries of all kinds, ranging from quick boardwalk-style food to formal sit-down restaurants with table service. There is also a convenience store across the street from the hotel and a full-size grocery store just 2 blocks from Bahama House. Several restaurants also deliver to the hotel.
Shopping can be enjoyed throughout Daytona Beach at a variety of different kinds of shops, including many that are one-of-a-kind. A traditional mall, the Volusia Mall, is about a 15 minute drive from Bahama House. This hotel employs a full-time golf concierge to assist those who wish to play a few rounds of their favorite sport while visiting Daytona Beach. The concierge can design a customized package tailored to the needs of the golfer, regardless of skill level. There are numerous courses located in and around Daytona Beach including several that have been the site of national championship matches. The concierge can pre-arrange tee times before you arrive or guests can meet with him after arriving in Daytona Beach. In peak golf season (spring and fall), making advance plans is suggested.
Bahama House offers special rates during notable
Daytona area events like Biketoberfest or the Daytona Turkey Run. Groups are
also welcome and special group rates are available. Pets are not permitted
at this hotel, with the exception of guide dogs.
